David L. Ferland Departs Lincoln Financial to Launch Lennox Insurance and Financial, LLC Through LPL Financial

RUMFORD, ME – Winthrop & Co. is pleased to announce that David L. Ferland has launched Lennox Insurance and Financial, LLC, an independent firm affiliated with LPL Financial, operating under the Pilot Financial umbrella—formerly the largest OSJ within Lincoln Financial.

With more than 17 years of experience in the financial services industry, David brings deep planning expertise, a strong client-first philosophy, and a long track record of delivering personalized financial solutions to individuals and families across New England, Florida, and the West Coast.

As Principal Member and Owner of Lennox Insurance and Financial, David now operates as a fully independent advisor and branch manager—supported by LPL’s robust platform and infrastructure, while continuing to deliver the same high-touch service his clients have come to rely on.

David holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from New Hampshire College and serves as a registered representative and investment advisor representative. His transition marks not just a shift in affiliation, but a strategic move toward greater control, flexibility, and longevity for his practice and clients alike.

Based in Rumford, Maine, David lives with his wife, Ramona, and enjoys spending time with family, cooking, and exploring new places.

With the launch of Lennox Insurance and Financial, David Ferland is setting the stage for continued growth and deeper impact—on his terms.
