Industry AnalysisUBS Advisor Teams Reported Leaving in Q3 2026: 13 Moves and Where They Went

At least thirteen UBS teams and advisors were publicly reported leaving between July 1 and September 30, 2026, with at least $13.04 billion in client assets between them. The figure is the sum of the lower reported number for each move, so the true total is at least that. The table lists each move in order of first public report, and the sections after it count the quarter by month, by size and by destination.

Dates are the date each move was first publicly reported, and each move's report is listed in the sources below. Where an outlet gave two figures, as it did for Scientia and Lucas, the sum uses the lower one.

When they were reported

September carried seven of the thirteen reports, July four and August two. Four of the five reports at $1 billion or more came between August 25 and September 30: BV Group, the Vazquez-Monasterio team, the Shafer-Block team and the Cullman/Holt Group. The fifth, Focus Wealth Management, was reported July 30. Two of the advisors had registered with their new firms before the quarter began, Evan Bloomberg in May and Adam Pearsall in June, and each is counted in the quarter of the first report.

Where they went

Eight firms received the thirteen. Raymond James took five, Wells Fargo two, and Cresset, Merrill Lynch, NewEdge Wealth, RBC Wealth Management, Rockefeller Global Family Office and Wedbush Securities one each. The largest single move by assets, BV Group's 16 people and $4 billion, went to Cresset.

What these counts cover

These are publicly reported moves, collected from trade outlets and, for one, the receiving firm's own release, and each is counted once. The count is a floor: a move that was never publicly reported is not in it. UBS's own advisor count and flows for the quarter are in the Q3 earnings post, the first half's moves in the 2026 outlook, the longer record in the departures analysis, and every tracked move in the UBS tracker.

An advisor who wants to talk through a move can request an introduction. It is held in confidence, and the advisor never pays.
