HYANNIS, MA — Winthrop & Co. is pleased to announce that Emily Anne Mullane, CFP®, CPFA™ has joined Axial Financial Group, an independent firm affiliated with Commonwealth Financial Network, as a Wealth Management Consultant.

Emily brings over 15 years of financial services experience to her role at Axial, having served in a variety of advisory, insurance, and tax roles throughout her career. Her move from Merrill Lynch to the Commonwealth platform via Axial allows her to offer a more holistic, flexible approach to wealth management—customized to each client's individual circumstances, goals, and planning needs.

Emily's career began in accounting and tax preparation, where she worked with both individuals and business owners. This foundation gives her unique insight into the tax-sensitive nature of wealth planning, and she continues to integrate that perspective into the investment and insurance strategies she develops for her clients.

She holds both the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification and Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor® designation—credentials that reinforce her planning-first, fiduciary approach to helping clients navigate everything from retirement planning to risk management.

Emily earned her bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a master's degree in accounting from New England College. She completed her Certificate in Financial Planning through the Boston Institute of Finance at Bryant University.

Now based in Hyannis, Emily lives in nearby Falmouth with her two children, Henry and Anna. When she's not working with clients, you'll likely find her cheering from the sidelines at a local sporting event, tending to her garden, or exploring the Cape's restaurant scene.

With her move to Axial, Emily is embracing the next chapter of her career—focused on delivering personalized, transparent advice through a platform that prioritizes independence, collaboration, and client care.
